We recommend the use of Unika ColorFill to seal worktop mitre joints. It is a hard wearing polysealant which performs three tasks :

1. It bonds the joint together.
2. It seals the joint against water and detergents.
3. It is exactly colour matched to the worktop design so making the joint almost invisible.

The colours have been specifically developed to match most popular brands of laminate across Europe including plain colours, woodgrains and patterned finishes. Unika manufactures over 250 colours as standard and new colours are being added to this range on an ongoing basis.

Colorfill has been scientifically formulated and tested to resist moisture detergent and other household products as efficiently as the laminate and will withstand heat and direct sunlight. It requires no mixing, is easy to apply and is available in handy 25g tubes, sufficient for one 600mm joint.

The colours have been specifically developed to match all popular finishes including the latest pastels, woodgrains and fantasy designs. Unika manufactures over 100 colours as standard and new colours are being added to this range on an ongoing basis.

For the installer, a ColorFill fitters kit is available which holds 20 colours plus solvent, ColorFiller (for large repairs), and a soft edged stainless steel spatula. ColorFill fitters kits contain only the colours you choose.
