Laminated worktops can be supplied in a choice of thicknesses, lengths and widths and are made to suit all budgets. Designs often feature realistic reproductions of natural wood, marble and Granite. Abstract designs are also available in a palette of colours unrivalled by other surfacing materials.

The worktops are made using a core of high density particle board. The laminate covering is bonded to the core in a heated press using the latest resin adhesives. The underside of the board is coated with a resin impregnated moisture barrier and further sealed against moisture ingress on the leading edge.

1. Surface Performance
   Genuine Formica high pressure laminate manufactured and tested to exceed European standards for impact, abrasion and staining (BS/EN438*)
2. Tekseal® Polyurethane Edge Protection
   Working in combination with the wrap under profile, Bushboard's unique Tekseal system provides the ultimate protection from spillages
3. Worktop Reverse Protection
   The underside and rear edge of each Prima worktop are sealed with specialist resin impregnated papers to completely encapsulate the worktop. Look for the blue Bushboard logo for authenticity.

At Mitchells we stock the Formica Prima range, manufactured by Bushboard Ltd and featuring genuine Formica laminate. These worktops are made to the highest quality standards and many of the designs have matching Splashback Panels and Upstands readily available.
